Your questions answered
Who actually lives in the properties? Can I live there?
Social housing is intended to be provided by the government to vulnerable members of the community through local housing associations. The high profit of this investment product is secured by long-term contracts with these state institutions. We do not advise you to consider these properties as residential units for you or your family members since the whole point of the offer is to receive the high yield of 8-10% per year without ever talking to tenants or dealing with repairs.
How can the lease be secured for 25 years?
We know how volatile the economy can be, but the good news is – you will have a contract with the government-funded and regulated housing operator for that area whose purpose is to look after supported tenants. They provide all the maintenance, management, and repairs. If something were to happen to them, you’re protected by the Housing Act and Homelessness Reduction Act meaning that the UK government has to appoint another housing provider to step in and take over the rental contract.
Should I travel to the UK to sign the documents?
Only if you wish so — we'll be happy to meet you in person! But everything can be successfully done remotely, so most of our international investors choose to sign the deal from the comfort of their homes.
What if I want to exit before 25 years are over?
This is absolutely possible! You can exit after three years of the purchasing date, and we provide very lucrative exit opportunities for our trusted investors. Talk to our consultants to learn more!
Can a non-UK citizen own a property there?
Yes, according to the law, anyone can be a full owner of the property in the United Kingdom. Of course, all the buyers are subject to standard anti-money laundering checks.
